If you have flipped through the grocery store gossip magazines or turned on TMZ then you have probably encountered a number of pictures of celebrities either getting ready to depart on a plane or having just landed from a long plane ride. It’s amazing just how fresh, stylish and wonderful these celebrities look.

The average traveler may try to copy this celebrity style but never seem to get it right. However, here is a look at some of the celebrity secrets that make them look so fresh and stylish having just come off a long flight.

Sunglasses or Hats. Sunglasses cover everything and that includes the bloodshot eyes that can happen from a long flight. Many celebrities carry around a pair of sunglasses just for the purpose of wearing them after a long flight. Floppy hats also serve the same purpose as these can shade tired eyes.

Scarves. Scarves can add a bit of color and flare to a traveler’s look. It also serves the purpose of taking the eyes away from the untidy look that comes with traveling on a plane and forces it to look up at the neck area. Just take a simple scarf and twist it around your neck and it could really spruce up your look.

Hooded Sweaters. Hooded sweaters can go both way. If they are too big and loose they can appear a bit untidy. However, if they are close to the body hooded sweaters can really prevent you from looking like a tired traveler. The hood provides a great hiding spot for travelers who feel they aren’t looking their best walking off the plane.

There’s no getting around looking overtired or rumpled when you get off the plane but using some of these items can really give you a clean refreshed look when you walk off the plane.
